摘要： PURPOSE: To make a packing clean for longer service life by shaping a packing into an annular band-shaped body, and forming at least one annular protrusion for fitting the inside part of the band-shaped body in an annular groove formed into a tubular part. CONSTITUTION: A stem 46 having a head part 10 is provided in an adjusting device, and at the head part 10, a central cylindrical part 23 and a lateral skirt 12 coaxial to it are integrated with each other. The skirt 12 is separated to the outside from the central part 23 to leave an annular housing between the central part 23 and an inner wall surface 11. A cylindrical surface whose diameter is constant over the whole height is formed on the wall surface 11 of the skirt 12. The annular housing is provided for storing a tube part 21 and a packing 13, and the packing 13 is compressed between the tube part 21 and the wall surface 11. The packing 13 is an annular band-shaped body, and at least one annular protrusion 16 for fitting its inside part in an annular groove 15 is formed. The outside part 17 of the packing 13 is shaped so that the lower end part 24 of the skirt 12 may be always brought into contact with the outside part of the band-shaped body even if a shaft part 22 is positioned in any direction.
